About the position

Position Available: Paralegal at a Busy Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Firm. We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our dynamic team and assist in all aspects of case management from intake to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation throughout the legal process. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a paralegal, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients, assisting attorneys in legal research and case preparation, and drafting pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses. You will manage all aspects of the discovery processes, prepare motions, and assist with motion practice. Additionally, you will play a key role in trial preparation, including the preparation of subpoenas and other necessary documents. General administrative tasks such as making copies, answering and directing phone calls, and greeting clients will also be part of your responsibilities. You will coordinate appointments and manage all correspondence and logistical arrangements, ensuring smooth communication with opposing counsel, the court, and clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience, with a strong understanding of personal injury law. Familiarity with MS Office software is essential, and experience with TrialWorks software is preferred but not required. We are looking for a self-starter with strong organizational skills who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience
  • Notary Public certification (preferred but not required)
  • Bilingual (preferred but not required)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience with TrialWorks software (preferred but not required)
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
