This position comes with immediate case responsibility, allowing the successful candidate to engage directly with important legal matters from the outset. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and interview skills, as well as a compassionate approach to working with clients who have experienced trauma. Organizational skills are essential, as the role requires managing multiple cases and maintaining detailed records. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse client base. Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing case files and evidence.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
• Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance with court rules.
• Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and witness lists.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, both physical and electronic.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong research and interview skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
• Compassionate approach to working with clients, particularly in sensitive cases.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in personal injury or litigation is preferred.
