About the position

The Firm Exp. is seeking a meticulous Demand Writer with a strong background in medical or legal fields, or significant experience in high-level proofreading. This remote position requires exceptional attention to detail and outstanding writing skills to craft compelling demand letters that effectively convey clients' positions and demands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys, medical professionals, and clients to gather information for demand letters.
• Craft clear, concise, and persuasive demand letters that accurately convey the client's position and demands.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to support the claims made in demand letters.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all written materials, including spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Review and proofread demand letters for clarity, coherence, and effectiveness.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or proofreading, with a focus on legal, medical, or similar content.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, legal terminology, or experience in proofreading legal documents is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
