About the position

The Personal Insurance Account Manager at Lawley Agency, LLC is responsible for managing an assigned book of existing business with a focus on growth and retention. This role involves conducting consultative conversations with clients to address their coverage needs, developing and selling personal insurance to both new and existing clients, and ensuring superior customer service. The Account Manager will also process endorsements and create necessary insurance documents while maintaining professional relationships with carriers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of existing business, focusing on growth and retention.
  • Conduct consultative conversations with clients and prospects to ensure all coverage needs are addressed.
  • Develop, quote, and sell Personal Insurance to new and existing clients.
  • Provide superior customer service to retain clients, as well as generate referrals and new business opportunities.
  • Process endorsements and create insurance documents as needed.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with carriers and clients.
  • Expand and grow in your role by supporting miscellaneous duties as requested.

Requirements

  • 3 years or more of insurance experience in customer service or account management.
  • Property/Casualty License.
  • Relevant knowledge of insurance products, documents, and usages.
  • Computer skills are a must; Applied & EPIC experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team.
  • Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Open to continuing education; college degree preferred.
  • Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued.
  • Capability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills.
  • Precise verbal and written communication skills, even under time constraints.
