About the position

The Personal Line Insurance Program Manager at DB Insurance is responsible for managing the overall operations and administration of the Personal Lines program. This role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance program efficiency and profitability while ensuring high levels of customer service and compliance with company guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations and administration of the Personal Lines program.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance program efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Participate in activities related to risk selection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability per divisional objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Assess risk quality and compliance within company guidelines and initiate appropriate loss prevention actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers to attract and retain profitable business.
  • Participate in visiting agents, brokers, and producers to retain existing accounts and develop new opportunities.
  • Interpret, explain, and market products and services.
  • Apply underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations.
  • Complete all assigned coursework and education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 or more years of related professional insurance experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to build and maintain positive relationships through teamwork.
