About the position

The Personal Lines Account Assistant at Cross Insurance Agency plays a vital role in supporting the Personal Lines Servicing Unit by generating accurate endorsements, evidences of insurance, and ensuring timely responses to clients and third parties. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as it directly impacts the client's perception of service quality. The assistant will work both autonomously and collaboratively with the personal lines team to meet time-sensitive goals and maintain client activity in the agency's automation system.

Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with the team to meet time-sensitive goals set forth by the Account Managers and the Personal Lines Manager.
• Maintain client activity in the agency automation system and keep open Suspense items up to date.
• Timely response for client-related activity.
• Complete endorsement quotes, accurate issuance of endorsements, and follow up for verification of completion.
• Complete evidences of insurance and insurance ID cards for auto and home mortgagee changes.
• Remain current on coverages, forms, and company rating tools to effectively support the account managers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in further education when requested.
• Assume other job responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Agency Personal Lines experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Property and Casualty Producers license
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work well with others

Nice-to-haves

• AMS360 management system experience
• Working knowledge of management and quoting systems for company partners: Chubb, PURE, Travelers, Cincinnati, Hanover, Progressive, and additional carriers.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and the internet
