About the position

TempExperts is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative for a Direct Hire Opportunity in Tampa, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service regarding their auto and home insurance needs. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Producers, and Insurance Company representatives to service existing customers, focusing on endorsements and policy management. The position requires a proactive approach to customer service, as you will be the first point of contact for clients with inquiries about their coverage, billing, and policy changes. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and issuing Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Insurance, and Auto Insurance ID Cards. You will also assist clients in making payments on existing policies and gathering necessary information for underwriting, marketing, and accounting purposes. Your ability to provide accurate and timely information will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and trust. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Personal Lines insurance industry, with at least one year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Florida 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License. Familiarity with standard and E&S markets is essential, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. Experience with AMS360 Agency Management and Applied EPIC software is preferred but not mandatory. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Account Managers, Producers, and Insurance Company representatives to service existing customers for auto and home endorsements.
  • Administer and issue Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Insurance, and Auto Insurance ID Cards.
  • Answer incoming calls/questions from clients regarding coverage and billing.
  • Assist clients in making payments on existing policies and making policy changes.
  • Gather information required for underwriting, marketing, and accounting purposes.
  • Assist with online quoting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Personal Lines insurance industry or a similar role is required.
  • Active Florida 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License is required.
  • Knowledge of standard and E&S markets is essential.
  • Strong administrative and computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AMS360 Agency Management is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency with Applied EPIC software is preferred.
