About the position
The Personal Lines Account Manager at Trucordia is responsible for servicing and identifying personal line insurance needs for both current and new clients. This role involves managing an assigned book of business, ensuring exceptional customer service, and actively closing sales based on client needs. The position requires a proactive approach to account management and a thorough understanding of personal lines coverage and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day account management of an assigned book of business including client communication, policy changes, renewals, payments, and claims.
- Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients through various communication channels.
- Operate and maintain the agency management computer program.
- Stay informed of industry changes and trends to anticipate and respond to client needs.
- Actively close sales based on client requirements.
- Conduct business with an understanding of the business and earnings implications for the company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid Massachusetts State Insurance License
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience servicing personal accounts within an insurance agency
- Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverage and markets
- Experience with a client management system, preferably AMS360
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice-to-haves
