About the position

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of individual clients in the personal insurance sector. This role focuses on providing exceptional client service, building strong relationships, and ensuring accurate policy management. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and knowledge of personal lines insurance to deliver customized solutions and support clients effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of personal lines accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Work closely with underwriters and insurers to secure coverage and negotiate terms.
  • Review and analyze policy renewals, endorsements, and changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist clients with policy inquiries, claims processes, and coverage adjustments.
  • Utilize EPIC software to manage client accounts, process transactions, and generate reports.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, reports, and documentation as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a proven track record of managing accounts and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Valid P&C-IL Insurance License required.
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations.
  • Experience with EPIC software required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
