About the position

The Personal Lines Account Manager at USI Holdings Corporation is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client transactions related to personal lines insurance, including endorsements, renewals, new policies, rewrites, and cancellations. This role supports account managers in maintaining the integrity of clients' electronic files and requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, knowledgeable service of requested policy transactions accessing carrier systems to process requests received.
  • Maintain transaction documentation of client files in Sagitta and ImageRight in accordance with Workflow standards.
  • Update database to reflect changes and maintain current policy coverage detail, involving data entry and cross-checking information against carrier systems.
  • Respond to Account Managers requests for information, documents, and general technical inquiries.
  • Correspond with assigned servicer and/or Account Manager for any transaction with missing information or additional clarification to process.
  • Prioritize daily allocation of work based on time sensitivity of documents and determine appropriate action to be taken.
  • Meet or exceed individual daily processing requirements and monthly accuracy goals.
  • Assist managers with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain client files accurately and consistently; responsible for proper documentation for all transactions processed in accordance with company workflows, procedures and best practices.
  • Manage or assist in book transfers, using approved tracking sheets and action plans.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in Personal Lines Insurance with automobile, homeowners, liability and other related products.
  • High School Graduate; College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
  • Knowledge of Personal Risk carrier systems processing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with advanced knowledge of Word and Excel preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency/Broker experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
