About the position

The Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager at Heidrick & Co. Insurance is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional client support in the property and casualty insurance sector. This position is integral to a small team that manages a diverse portfolio of high net worth clients and multi-location risks. The role requires a proactive approach to client interactions, ensuring compliance with underwriting requirements and maintaining high retention rates through outstanding service. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining in-office and remote work, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to prospects and clients.
• Assist clients with policy and coverage questions and facilitate payments when needed.
• Process policy changes for all lines of business.
• Work with clients to ensure compliance with underwriting issues that arise after inspections.
• Renew policy lines, retrieve, review, and attach policies and endorsements in the agency management system.

Requirements

• 2-20 FL General Lines License (or willingness to obtain one if holding a 20-44 or 4-40 license).
• Minimum of three years experience in a busy retail agency.
• Significant experience using a robust agency management system, preferably Vertafores AMS360.
• Thorough knowledge of coastal insurance, including four-point and wind-mitigation inspection report features.
• Superior knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverages.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Vertafores AMS360 product.
• Knowledge of personal articles, watercraft, and umbrella insurance.
