About the position

At HUB International, we are seeking a dedicated Client Service Assistant to join our Florida Personal Lines team. This role is essential in supporting our Advisors and Account Managers in the processing and servicing of personal lines accounts. The Client Service Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our services, adhering to the practices, policies, and procedures of the company. The selected candidate will engage in new business processing, which includes entering information into our agency management system, issuing evidences, auto ID cards, and checking in policies. Additionally, the role involves creating summary spreadsheets and policy books, processing total account rewrites for account managers, and handling endorsements. The Client Service Assistant will also provide vital support to account managers, work through the daily communication download log, and maintain department marketing materials and internal documents. This position requires a proactive approach to support advisors on marketing campaigns and events, and may involve back-up receptionist duties as needed. Responsibilities

  • Assist Advisors with the processing of new business and Account Managers with servicing personal lines accounts.
  • Enter information into the agency management system for new business processing.
  • Issue evidences, auto ID cards, and check in policies.
  • Create summary spreadsheets and policy books.
  • Process total account rewrites for account managers.
  • Invoice policies and endorsements.
  • Process endorsements as required.
  • Provide support to account managers as needed.
  • Work the communication download log daily.
  • Maintain department marketing material and internal documents.
  • Support advisors on marketing campaigns and events.
  • Back-up receptionist as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Florida 4-40 Customer Service license required; must be willing to obtain 20-44 or 2-20.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate degree (2-year degree) required.
