About the position

At HUB International, we are seeking a dedicated Client Service Assistant to join our Florida Personal Lines team. This role is essential in supporting our Advisors and Account Managers in the processing and servicing of personal lines accounts. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our client services. This includes processing new business, managing account rewrites, and handling endorsements, all while adhering to the company's established practices and policies. The Client Service Assistant will also be involved in maintaining department marketing materials and internal documents, as well as providing support for marketing campaigns and events. Additionally, the role may require backing up the receptionist as needed, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail. They will be expected to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities

  • Assist Advisors with the processing of new business and Account Managers with servicing personal lines accounts.
  • Process new business, including entering information into the agency management system and issuing evidences and auto ID cards.
  • Check in policies, create summary spreadsheets, and prepare policy books.
  • Process total account rewrites for account managers and invoice policies and endorsements.
  • Handle processing of endorsements and provide support to account managers as needed.
  • Work on the communication download log daily and maintain department marketing material and internal documents.
  • Support advisors on marketing campaigns and events, and back-up receptionist as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Florida 4-40 Customer Service license required; must be willing to obtain 20-44 or 2-20.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Associate degree (2-year degree) is required.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
