Responsibilities

• Drive the development of new products and manage existing products effectively.
• Make recommendations regarding product design, pricing, underwriting, and distribution processes.
• Analyze premium rates, loss experience, and retention to meet production and underwriting profitability goals.
• Monitor the mix of business in assigned states and identify changes and their reasons.
• Develop business profit and growth strategies in collaboration with marketing for assigned states.
• Research competitors' market positions and translate market opportunities into new product ideas.
• Coordinate with IT to implement rate revisions, new products, and features, ensuring proper communication of key profit metrics.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to small groups.
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and processes.
• Experience with forecasting and modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Typically requires 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
