About the position

The Personal Lines Rater for Auto is responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers by processing transactions and delivering services related to Personal Lines Policy Administration. This role involves handling high-touch and high-volume transactions of lower to medium complexity within the Business Services Unit. The position requires a customer-first attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and deliver services for Personal Lines Auto.
• Learn routine transactions within assigned function and work independently within 6-12 months.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Meet individual goals within defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Escalate issues and non-routine transactions to the supervisor as appropriate.
• Staff contact center phone and chat queues on a weekly basis or as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years' work experience required, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Experience with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
