About the position
The Personal Lines Sales & Services Consultant at Federated Insurance serves as the primary contact for prospects and policyholders regarding Personal Lines products, including auto, homeowners, and renters insurance. This role involves responding to customer inquiries, amending policies, explaining services, and pursuing sales opportunities. The position requires obtaining a Minnesota Property and Casualty Producer license as part of the training program.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for prospects and policyholders on Personal Lines products.
- Respond to customer questions regarding insurance policies and coverages.
- Amend existing policies as needed based on customer requests.
- Explain available services and products to customers.
- Provide information on pricing and coverage options.
- Increase sales opportunities by pursuing leads and initiating sales calls.
Requirements
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in customer service or business.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work with multiple computer applications while on the telephone.
- Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and a high attention to detail.
