In addition to the core responsibilities, the Personal Lines Underwriter Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing the knowledge of branch office teams. This includes interfacing with agents and insurance carriers, managing the Personal Lines inbox, and assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for product offerings. The role also involves promoting specialty program offerings both internally and externally, as well as assisting the Director with monthly calls with branch office teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and possess strong problem analysis and resolution skills, all while maintaining a strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance or other related major or experience preferred
  • 2-20 Licensed preferred but not required
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritize and be responsive to complex issues
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate various websites and databases
