About the position

The Personal/Office Assistant will support a busy landscape designer in managing various tasks related to both professional and personal responsibilities. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations in the designer's work and family life, requiring a proactive and organized individual who can handle a variety of tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Send out emails to clients and arrange/manage meetings and overall schedule.
  • Organize client files and assist with light bookkeeping.
  • Source and research materials for projects.
  • Create client proposals and invoices.
  • Return items to Amazon/FedEx/UPS.
  • Pickup items from nurseries/hardware/lighting/irrigation supply stores.
  • Occasionally give the designer's children a ride.
  • Manage and create content on social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Previous office or personal assistant experience preferred.
  • Experience in a design office is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop/InDesign is a significant advantage.
  • Must have a great/positive and upbeat attitude.
  • Must be organized, efficient, and self-motivated.
