Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
  • Help residents with mobility and physical activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
  • Document care provided and any changes in residents' conditions in electronic health records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance care delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with an electronic health record system.
  • Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment.
  • Additional certifications in caregiving or health services.
