About the position

As a Personal Shopper Assistant at Neiman Marcus, you will play a vital role in enhancing the client experience within the Beauty department. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about customer service and luxury retail. You will be working closely with the Personal Shopper and the selling team to ensure that every client feels welcomed and valued. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients as they enter the store, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring they are connected with the appropriate associates based on their service requirements. You will also be expected to handle Point of Sale transactions efficiently and address any escalated issues by liaising with management. In addition to direct customer interaction, you will support various operational aspects of the store, including Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and curbside pickup services. You will collaborate with the Operations team and managers to facilitate alterations and enhance the fitting room experience. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities to introduce clients to additional services offered by Neiman Marcus, such as personalization and food or beverage options. This position requires a flexible schedule, as you will need to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients are warmly welcomed into Neiman Marcus at store entrances and within store departments, transitioning the client to appropriate associate based on service needs.
  • Serve in different areas of the store based on business needs.
  • Process efficient Point of Sale transactions as needed.
  • Efficiently and graciously handle escalated issues by connecting customers with a member of the management team.
  • Demonstrate follow-up on customer requests, questions, and needs.
  • Support BOPIS and curbside pickup, alterations (online and pickups) in partnership with the Operations team and Managers on duty.
  • Partner to support fitting room experiences when needed.
  • Look for opportunities to enhance the client experience by introducing our services such as alterations, personalization, food or beverage, package carry-out or delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-centric role(s) with proven ability to sell products and services.
  • Familiar with and able to use retail and mobile technologies.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
