About the position

Join HAC, Inc., Oklahoma's largest employee-owned grocery store, where our mission is to be A Great Place to Work, A Great Place to Shop, and A Great Place to Do Business. As a Personal Shopper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience, whether they're picking up orders or receiving deliveries. This dual-role position encompasses the responsibilities of both a Picker and a Dispenser, requiring attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. In the Picker role, you will be responsible for order fulfillment, accurately shopping and packing orders while handling up to three orders simultaneously and maintaining a rate of 100 items per hour. You will also manage substitutions for out-of-stock items, ensuring a high level of accuracy, and perform quality control checks to guarantee that customers receive products with at least three days of freshness. Additionally, you will manage inventory, organize completed orders for easy retrieval, and perform end-of-shift tasks such as cleaning and restocking equipment. As a Dispenser, your duties will include conducting quality checks on all orders, ensuring perishables meet freshness standards, and greeting customers warmly upon their arrival for pickup. You will verify orders, gather them from the staging area, and dispense them promptly, aiming for a target wait time of under three minutes. Customer interaction is key, as you will discuss substitutions or out-of-stock items and assist customers with loading groceries into their vehicles. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the staging area and following up with any no-show customers. This position requires a commitment to safety compliance and teamwork, as you will work closely with other store departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to stay updated on store products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
