About the position

As a Personal Stylist at Macy's, you will focus on exceeding performance metrics while providing an elevated customer experience through both in-store and virtual selling. Your role involves driving sales growth, developing key relationships, and leveraging technology to enhance customer interactions. You will also be responsible for expanding your customer base and building a strong social media presence to promote your services.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sale goals by providing personalized shopping experiences in-store and online.
• Drive customer acquisition through networking and leveraging social media.
• Partner with store team, vendors, and community partners to host events.
• Leverage selling tools to increase client visit rates and promote relevant products.
• Make data-driven decisions to understand local market and customer base.
• Regularly meet with the Store Manager to discuss performance and goals.
• Complete daily tasks including appointment booking and customer follow-up.
• Attend vendor trainings and development workshops as assigned.
• Support peers in skill development while continuously improving your own skills.
• Participate in store leadership meetings and maintain a clean environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years retail experience or in a high-touch selling position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Self-starter with adaptability to changing customer expectations.
• Resourceful and able to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• Keen sense of fashion and suggestive selling techniques.
