About the position
The Certified Personal Trainer at VASA Fitness plays a crucial role in guiding clients on their health and fitness journeys. The trainer is responsible for acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones through personalized training sessions and supportive interactions.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients through their health and fitness journey by providing personalized training sessions.
- Acquire new clients and retain existing clientele through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Schedule and deliver complimentary personal training sessions to potential clients.
- Facilitate and adjust exercise programming to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Create an approachable and inclusive environment in the Personal Training Cage.
- Interact with members, clients, and guests in a friendly and energetic manner.
- Demonstrate consistency in appearance, safety protocols, and cleaning activities.
- Utilize VASA programs and resources to provide meaningful check-ins and coaching for clients.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of personal training or coaching experience is acceptable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
- Ability to adapt training programs to meet individual client needs.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive community.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in personal training or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
