About the position
As a Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym, you will play a crucial role in helping members maximize their training potential through personalized fitness programs. This position involves conducting fitness assessments, creating tailored exercise plans, and providing ongoing support and motivation to members of varying fitness levels. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean workout environment while also contributing to the club's revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness service appointments with new and existing members to design personalized fitness game plans.
- Process new member intake questions to understand fitness goals and constraints.
- Develop individualized exercise programs that are effective and aligned with members' fitness goals.
- Maintain professional support for club members with diverse fitness backgrounds.
- Utilize floor hours to assist members with exercises and equipment demonstrations.
- Ensure a safe and clean workout floor while building professional relationships with members.
- Apply expert-level fitness knowledge to engage and motivate members during workouts.
- Conduct thorough gym walkthroughs to clean and re-rack weights to maintain facility standards.
- Assist the club in achieving monthly revenue goals set by management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, and resistance training.
- Ability to create effective and challenging exercise programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a fitness-related role is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in personal training or related field.
- Experience with group fitness classes.
