About the position

As a Personal Trainer at Equinox, you will empower both yourself and your clients by maximizing performance through tailored fitness programs. You will work under the guidance of dedicated managers to develop your skills in programming, education, business, and financial planning, ensuring a fulfilling career in fitness. This role emphasizes client engagement, professional development, and the delivery of high-quality fitness services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including client appointments and meetings
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients
• Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members
• Interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions
• Attend Continuing Education classes for professional growth
• Participate in required one-on-one or team meetings with management

Requirements

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in the field of fitness or related area
• Previous experience in personal training
