About the position

The Personal Trainer at Equinox is responsible for building and maintaining an active client base while providing exceptional fitness services. This role emphasizes professional development through ongoing education and offers a competitive compensation structure, with the potential to earn over $100K. Trainers will execute personalized fitness programs, conduct assessments, and enhance the overall member experience in a premier fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including client appointments and meetings
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients
• Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts
• Attend Continuing Education classes for professional growth
• Participate in required one-on-one or team meetings with management

Requirements

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful demeanor

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in the field of fitness or related area
• Previous experience in personal training
