About the position
As a Personal Trainer at Equinox, you will empower both yourself and your clients by maximizing performance through a comprehensive approach to fitness. This role involves developing personalized training programs, managing client relationships, and participating in ongoing professional development to ensure a successful career in personal training.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an active client base
- Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including client appointments and meetings
- Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients
- Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members
- Interact with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience
- Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients
- Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions
- Attend Continuing Education classes for professional growth
- Participate in required one-on-one or team meetings with management
Requirements
- Current Nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's degree in the field
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
- Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
