About the position

The Personal Trust Administrative Assistant at BancFirst Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting Personal Trust Administrators within the Trust & Investment Management Division. This position involves various administrative tasks, including processing receipts and distributions, maintaining accounts, preparing client reports, and fostering positive client relations. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Personal Trust Administrators
• Process receipts and distributions as instructed
• Open and close accounts on the trust accounting system
• Assist with maintenance of accounts on the trust accounting system
• Prepare client review reports
• Scan trust information to electronic archive
• Assist with client phone calls
• Assist customers while Trust Administrators are out or unavailable
• Foster positive customer/client relations
• Responsible for electronic document retention and filing
• Assist with special projects
• Other job related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good client communications skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask with accuracy
• Must be detail-oriented, accurate, dependable and a self-starter
• Ability to use independent judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality
• Good analytical skills
• Basic working knowledge of investments and banking is helpful
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
