About the position
Pranwi Logistics, a FedEx contractor, is seeking Personal Vehicle Delivery Drivers (AVP Drivers) to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences using their own vehicles. This role emphasizes excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, with additional compensation for fuel surcharges on top of hourly wages.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods safely and securely, ensuring that items are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Have a qualified, reliable passenger vehicle (including sedans, station wagons, SUVs, mini vans) for work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
