About the position

The Pest Control Technician at OPC Pest Services is responsible for delivering high-quality pest management services to residential customers in the Eastern Jefferson, Oldham, and Shelby County areas of Kentucky. This role involves building strong customer relationships, managing pest control solutions, and ensuring compliance with company and governmental guidelines. The position offers full-time employment with competitive wages and comprehensive training, making it suitable for individuals without prior pest control experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to residential customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters.
• Seek opportunities for customer base growth.
• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services.
• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements.
• Collect payments from customers at the time of service, if applicable.
• Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work and arrange service calls as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license is necessary.
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass a criminal history background check, physical exam, and drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in residential construction is a plus.
