About the position

The Pest Control Technician at OPC Pest Services is responsible for delivering high-quality pest management services to residential customers in the Eastern Jefferson County Kentucky area. This role emphasizes customer relationship building, adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines, and the opportunity for personal and professional growth within a supportive team environment. No prior pest control experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to residential customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters.
• Seek opportunities for customer base growth.
• Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services.
• Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements.
• Collect payments from customers at the time of service, if applicable.
• Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work and arrange service calls as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required.
