The Pest Control Technician at Barrier Pest Solutions is responsible for providing general pest control services, including inspections and treatments, while maintaining excellent customer relationships. The position requires a strong work ethic, customer service skills, and a willingness to learn, with training provided for those without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general pest control services in the form of inspections and treatments.
• Provide detailed reporting to customers, including commercial businesses, along with recommendations to eliminate conducive conditions.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships through great customer service.
• Maintain safe driving practices.
• Maintain and care for company equipment & vehicles.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance & during customer interactions.
• Continually stay up to speed on the latest industry trends and training.

Requirements

• Enjoys interacting with customers & able to stay friendly even during negative interactions.
• Self-motivated & team player.
• Enjoys problem-solving & investigating.
• Remains observant during jobs.
• Physical stamina to work outside in the elements during summer heat and cold winters.
• Able to work on ladders and in attics.
• Ability to lift/wear 25 lbs of weight.
• Ability to work while wearing a respirator at times.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Must have a clean driving record.
