The Pet Care and Client Coordinator (Receptionist) / Veterinary Technician role at Let's MoVET Mobile Veterinary Care involves providing both reception and veterinary technician services in a mobile setting. The position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of veterinary practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team while ensuring high-quality care for pets and clear communication with their owners.

Responsibilities

• Pick up phone calls, answer texts, and emails.
• Execute tasks from the veterinarian and team members, and communicate with clients, laboratories, and pharmacies.
• Perform veterinary technician tasks in the field, including sample collection, wound dressing, injectable medication administration, and vaccinations.
• Drive EV/hybrid cars to clients' homes with a partner technician.
• Carry 10-20 lbs of rolling and hand carry bags.

Requirements

• Valid Veterinary Technician Certification license.
• 2 years of veterinary experience (preferred).
• Outstanding communication skills (conversation, text, and emails).
• Ability to explain basic vaccines and diagnostics done at a veterinary clinic.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Genuine care for clients' needs and patient care.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mobile veterinary medicine.
• Knowledge of veterinary medications and products.
