About the position
The Pet Care Attendant position at our premier dog and cat boarding/daycare facility involves providing care and supervision for pets, ensuring their well-being during group play and other activities. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing play areas and accommodations, as well as maintaining high standards of pet care. We seek dedicated team players who are passionate about animal care and can handle the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Care and feed dogs and cats.
- Supervise dogs during group play and activities.
- Clean and sanitize play yards and sleeping accommodations.
- Sweep, mop, and dust common spaces.
- Remove and clean animal waste.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs and handle large dogs on a leash.
- Self-motivated and dedicated team player who is reliable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Strong cleaning and sanitization skills.
- Experience in commercial pet care for at least 1 year.
