About the position
As a Pet Trainer at PetSmart, you will lead engaging training classes for pet parents, focusing on dog behavior and learning theory. Responsibilities
- Teach classes to a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and ages.
- Lead each class with an emphasis on the safety and comfort for pets and pet parents.
- Show patience to pet parents when training their very excited puppies.
- Guide pets through the Pet Therapy Training Program.
- Build strong bonds with all two-legged and four-legged members of your class.
Requirements
- Passion for pets and animal care.
- Ability to lead and engage with pet parents and their dogs.
- Willingness to participate in the Pet Training Instructor Accreditation Program.
