Responsibilities

• Safely operate various pieces of hand, powered or mobile equipment to meet site production goals.
• Comply with Loss Control (HSLP), Environmental, and NGM policies and procedures.
• Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Perform preop inspections on all pieces of equipment and machinery prior to use.
• Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper heading inspection.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform preoperational checks.
• Demonstrate the ability to suppress airborne dust as required.
• Demonstrate the ability to receive muck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe ramp travel with regards to traffic and pedestrians.
• Demonstrate the ability to dump muck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Backfill haulage and placement.
• Demonstrate the ability to monitor conveyor while in operation.
• Demonstrate the requirements to clear plugged chutes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to recognize workplace hazards.

Requirements

• 8 of 11 skills are required, with Trucking and Utilities being mandatory.
• Haul Truck Operation experience.
• Knowledge of safe ramp travel with regards to traffic and pedestrians.
• Ability to perform preoperational checks on equipment.
• Knowledge of required PPE for all aspects of the task.

Nice-to-haves

• Rockbreaker operation experience (optional).
• Slickline operation experience (optional).
• Water Truck Operation experience.
• Dewatering - sumps/pumps operation experience.
• Wash Bay Operation experience.
