About the position

The PFC Operations Inbound-Outbound Team Lead is responsible for assisting the PFC Operations Inbound-Outbound Supervisor with daily administration, task delegation, and managing the general functions of the PFC. This role fosters a positive and collaborative team culture, emphasizing the PFC goals of providing a flawless experience for the end customer. The Team Lead ensures that all associates comprehend and execute safe work practices by performing regular safety observations and having regular safety discussions. They identify and resolve safety issues on the floor and notify the appropriate party for resolution. The Team Lead models, communicates, and reinforces Lowe's Core Behaviors and SMART customer service expectations, thriving in an environment with a lot of change and ambiguity, adapting quickly to meet changing business, associates, or customer needs. They monitor and drive PFC associates to achieve key operational performance metrics, providing tools, resources, and knowledge of systems and procedures where appropriate. The Team Lead makes confident decisions and escalates issues to leadership as necessary, identifies barriers to operational processes, and communicates those barriers to leadership, implementing solutions as required. They build and maintain collaborative relationships with other leaders to help drive overall PFC success, provide real-time training and feedback to associates, and are responsible for onboarding hourly associates. The Team Lead supervises and provides direction to associates in the absence of the PFC Inbound-Outbound Supervisor and is held accountable for other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • 1 year experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 1 year experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year experience working in distribution operations.
  • 1 year supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
