About the position

The Curriculum Developer at Primerica is responsible for planning, creating, implementing, and maintaining curriculum and content materials for life pre-licensing classes. This hybrid role involves both onsite work in Duluth, Georgia, and remote work, focusing on developing educational resources that meet state and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update Pre-Licensing classroom Curriculum for state and company approval
  • Create and revise regulation manuals, curriculum outlines, exams, personalized study plans and reviews with the accompanying class presentations
  • Work in conjunction with the training designer to develop and assist in delivering information necessary to keep instructors' skills current through trainings and webinars
  • Write end of course exams, quizzes and exam prep workbooks
  • Analyze Life Insurance question banks and vendor's materials for accurate representation of state required topics
  • Create study tools to aid students in content retention for state insurance exams
  • Collaborate with Regional Training Coordinators to anticipate and determine needs of Instructors
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party schools to make changes to Class manuals as needed
  • Collaborate with television studio for production of life insurance videos and audio by writing script and storyboarding graphics
  • Research insurance content and state regulations for the curriculum department and Instructors
  • Collaborate with Communication manager for creating and posting materials on Primerica Online
  • Collaborate with distribution for inventory balances and availability of updated materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration or equivalent
  • 4-5 years' experience with Life insurance content and instruction
  • 3 years of experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient with IOS system
  • 3 years of effective written communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work effectively with vendors, associates and management at all levels
  • Flexibility, including willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
