About the position

Xavier Creative House (XCH) is seeking a creative and innovative Pharmaceutical Copywriter to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will develop compelling and accurate content that resonates with both healthcare professionals and patients, helping to shape the future of healthcare marketing. Responsibilities

  • Write creative copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action, varying voice, style, and other characteristics as needed.
  • Interpret creative briefs and produce creative content from concepts to execution, conducting research to understand client's needs and target audiences.
  • Write and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials, collaborating with client service managers, strategists, and creative staff on timelines, resources, and execution.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team and clients, participating in client pitches as needed.
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and requirements for successful submissions, following best practices for annotations.
  • Identify and process permissions for copyrighted material reproduction.
  • Participate in regulatory responsibilities to gain asset approvals.
  • Use company project management and communication software effectively.
  • Attend job-related meetings and incorporate client feedback to address it.
  • Stay informed on client-related industry trends and maintain consistency in messaging by following style guidelines and brand voice.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Strong time management, prioritizing, and organizing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with standard software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work; Healthcare/Pharma experience is required.
