About the position

The Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative at Inizio Engage is responsible for driving demand and achieving market results in the pediatric healthcare sector. This role involves collaborating with healthcare providers to educate them about disease states and product offerings, while also validating patient eligibility for therapy. The representative will engage in cold calling and strategic selling to maximize outreach and frequency of results in assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory/primary market results measured in referrals and new prescriptions.
• Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating Generalists.
• Cold call on key accounts and gain access and insights.
• Profile accounts and edit lead list to ensure correct targets are reached with appropriate frequency.
• Validate that healthcare providers have eligible patients for therapy.
• Edit account list data and assist with segmentation exercises as assigned.
• Provide account feedback to leadership regarding market intelligence.
• Track activities in the CRM system to monitor reach and frequency.
• Deliver approved educational messaging to targeted healthcare providers.
• Assist clients in understanding referral processes for patients.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience focused on primary care call points, preferably in pediatrics or generalists.
• Strong B2B sales experience with a desire to transition into pharmaceuticals.
• Cold calling experience in healthcare or related fields.
• Experience with office-based selling in a complex referral model.
• Experience working in a field team model with account managers.
