Responsibilities

  • Develop superior product and disease state knowledge to educate healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles.
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Complete training requirements, including product examinations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information.
  • Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to develop local strategies and business plans.
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and implement Strategic Targeting Plans effectively.
  • Provide special education to healthcare providers within ethical guidelines.
  • Coordinate selling efforts with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry, preferably in Cardiovascular, Renal, or Metabolic Disease therapeutic areas
  • Prior sales experience
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and judgment
  • Results-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information.

Nice-to-haves
