The Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist at Alcon is responsible for managing a large territory in Philadelphia, PA, focusing on building relationships with physicians and practitioners. Responsibilities

  • Build disease awareness with key partners and understand treatment initiation processes.
  • Collaborate with partners on prior authorization, payor restrictions, and patient referrals.
  • Manage the sales budget and develop impactful territory plans.
  • Employ business planning and local market knowledge to grow sales.
  • Develop relationships with customers and opinion leaders in the pharmaceutical community.
  • Participate in and conduct meetings and events such as congresses and trainings.
  • Establish and present action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinate trainings and product presentations.
  • Prospect for new accounts and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
  • 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
