Pharmacy 340B Program Audit Analyst, Full-Time Days

About the position

The Pharmacy 340B Program Audit Analyst at UChicago Medicine is responsible for conducting audits and supporting third-party audits of the pharmacy 340(b) program across all qualified entities within the organization. This role ensures compliance with federal regulations, maximizes participation in the program, and enhances the efficiency of 340(b) processes. The position involves monitoring various points of service, developing audit reports, and providing insights to maintain effective program management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with 340(b) program qualifications and regulations.
• Support third-party audits of the pharmacy 340(b) program.
• Monitor and audit retail and contract pharmacy relationships for compliance.
• Ensure accurate and complete records related to the 340(b) program.
• Develop and monitor monthly and annual audit reports on 340(b) participation.
• Attend 340(b) conferences and stay updated on industry publications and guidelines.
• Audit utilization records and 340(b) purchasing accounts for accuracy.
• Provide recommendations for improving policies and procedures related to 340(b).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting.
• Minimum three years of experience in business analysis in a healthcare environment.
• Exposure or limited experience with the 340B program, including 340B Prime Vendor Certification.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proven competencies in auditing, analysis, and reporting.
