The Pharmacy Associate position at Pancare of Florida Inc. is a full-time role focused on providing high-quality patient care in a pharmacy setting. The associate will be responsible for managing pharmacy tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining patient confidentiality. Responsibilities
- Understand and follow applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, and professional standards to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Demonstrate compassion by proactively identifying and resolving potential problems related to medication needs.
- Collaborate with medical staff, insurance companies, and customers to resolve medication or insurance-related issues.
- Engage customers to educate them about their health and medications, positioning PanCare as a partner in their health journey.
- Assist the Pharmacist with managing daily activities, including reports and pharmacy scheduling.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Identify opportunities for improving patient care and customer service.
- Participate in safety programs, including potential assignment to an emergency response team.
Requirements
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License
- 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent
