About the position

As a member of the QFC team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service that helps individuals lead healthier lives. Your responsibilities will include treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, ensuring a safe, clean, and inclusive environment, and being a responsible community member. You will be tasked with delivering the right products, services, and care at the right time, all while maintaining fair and accurate pricing. Direct patient intervention is a key aspect of this role, where you will provide health and wellness services and experiences that are relevant to the patient, in accordance with state and federal laws. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to help customers live healthier lives.
  • Treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
  • Deliver the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing.
  • Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services as allowed by state and federal laws.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
  • Compound medications according to state and other regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
  • Support non-dispensing services through various platforms, resources, and applications.
  • Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law as well as company policies.
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations.
  • Report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.

Requirements

  • Minimum - High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Any previous comparable experience.
  • Any equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company policies regarding the same.
  • Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements.
