Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services relevant to the patient.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws regarding health and wellness services.
• Demonstrate the company's core values in all interactions with customers and employees.
• Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
• Accurately complete all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Support the coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Compound medications according to state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information against computer records.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and resources.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations according to health codes.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous comparable experience in a pharmacy or health-related field.
• Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Support for company health and wellness initiatives.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Current national and/or state registration, certification, or license.
