Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for customers and employees.
- Support the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
- Compound medications according to state regulations.
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
- Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and resources.
- Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law.
- Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions.
- Report all illegal activities, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous comparable experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Support for company health and wellness initiatives.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Current national and/or state registration, certification, or license.
