Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to help customers live healthier lives.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for all customers and employees.
  • Deliver health and wellness services and experiences relevant to patients, in compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
  • Support the continued coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
  • Compound medications according to state and other regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
  • Support non-dispensing services through various platforms, resources, and applications.
  • Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law as well as company policies.
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations.
  • Report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure is required.
  • Any previous comparable experience is desired.
  • Any equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company policies regarding the same.
  • Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a pharmacy setting or related field.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness services and products.
  • Familiarity with CLIA-waived screenings and regulations.
