About the position

The Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier position at Pill Box Pharmacy involves providing excellent customer service while managing transactions and assisting with pharmacy operations. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with the public and are committed to maintaining a friendly and efficient pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they approach the pharmacy
• Scan customers' items through the register quickly and correctly
• Process payments and count correct change back to customers
• Thank customers for their business when they leave
• Answer phone calls
• Assist with drug inventory
• Assist with stocking and cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Friendly, helpful, customer-oriented personality
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Simple math skills
• Cashier experience preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC)

Nice-to-haves

• Customer service experience of 1 year (Preferred)
