Responsibilities
- Gathers patient information and provides accurate answers to inquiries.
- Processes payments and expresses gratitude to all customers.
- Inputs necessary data into the computer system in compliance with legal requirements.
- Follows all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Answers incoming calls and directs callers to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintains the pharmacy's front end and ensures the availability of quality pharmaceutical products and supplies.
- Adheres to general pharmacy standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
- Contributes to the planning process by setting personal goals for quality improvement.
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality improvement within the Pharmacy Department.
- Proactively takes the initiative for professional growth and development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
